Metres: Approx.390m.

Needles: Set of four double pointed 2.5mm knitting needles.

Gauge (tension): 32 stitches and 46 rows to 10cm/4ins square over stocking stitch using 2.5mm needles.

Size: To fit UK size 4-6 (or desired foot length as highlighted in the pattern)

My design ideas and advice: This basic sock pattern is perfect for beginners to follow and learn how to knit their first pair of socks. For the more experienced knitter they are great to make into a bespoke pair by lengthening or shortening the leg or foot. The quantities recommended comfortably make this sock in the photograph, with a little left over to lengthen the leg or foot if needed. With the amazing choice of variegated sock yarns, this pattern should provide an endless source of never ending unique socks!
