For this pattern you need:
Yarn: One 50g ball each of Adriafil Calzasocks in shade A, shade B and shade C.
I used Lime 34 for shade A, Bottle Green 43 for shade B and Forest Green 40 for shade C.
Metres/Yardage: approx. 300m
With these three balls there is enough to make two pairs of socks at size 4-9
Needles: Set of four double pointed 2.5mm knitting needles.
Tension: 28 stitches and 38 rows to 10cm/4ins square over rib pattern using 2.5mm needles.
Measurements: to fit UK size 5 (or desired foot length as highlighted in the pattern.)
My design ideas and advice: These were designed for a gentleman who requested a 2×2 rib sock. I also love 2×2 rib so I was more than happy to oblige! There are great for men and women. I love the little details and so I played around with how the 2×2 rib merged into the stocking stitch at the shape instep. I played around with several ideas before I decided on the one in the pattern. It makes me smile! If you look closely you can see it on the image or pop into the studio to see the socks!
