The yarns used in the photograph are variegated but the bag will look just as effective in solid shades and would also be perfect for using up odd balls in several different shades to create a unique bag.
100g (2oom) each of aran weight yarn in yarn A and yarn B. (The yarn used is 100m per 50g therefore you need 200m in each shade making a total of 400m.)
TENSION: 18 stitches and 24 rows to 10cm/4ins square over stocking stitch using 5mm (US8) needles.
MEASUREMENTS: (before felting) 40cm/16ins x 40cm/16ins.
