This pattern is is perfect for beginners and I have written a post especially for you introducing knitting, that one is called “With you every step of the way”
My design ideas and advice: This is a great quick and simple knit, a great project for beginners or a quick weekend project for experienced knitters who need a moment or two of pure simple stitches. I made it a bit different by using two strands of of aran weight yarn together. I like the effect when using a natural with a bright shade however the colour combinations are endless and I’ve seen many lovely variations.
And if you are a beginner who wanted to improve your skills and are ready I designed Dave The Hat in the same way!
