Product Description

For this pattern I used:

Yarn: dk weight yarn (with 115m per 50g)
This scarf takes one or two 50g balls depending on how long you want the scarf.

Metres/Yardage 115m/126yds (for short version)
or 230m/252yds (for long version)

Yarn Suggestions: Rico Creative Cotton DK one or two 50g balls.

Needles: 4mm knitting needles

Tension: 21 stitches and 32 rows to 10cm/4ins square over pattern using 4mm needles.

Measurements: short version (one 50g ball) 9cm/3.5ins x approximately 90cm/35.25 ins
long version (two 50g balls) 9cm/3.5ins x approximately 185cm/72.75ins.

My design ideas and advice: This skinny scarf is perfect for any outfit and with the smallest size using just one ball of double knit yarn is great for using up any odd balls. I also love it because it is an exciting way to try out new yarns to see if you like knitting with them. Or, as I have done, for using one ball of beautiful silk or cashmere for a touch of luxury around your neck.
