For this simple (honestly it is, it looks more complicated than it is!) pattern I used WYS Bluefaced Leicester Aran:
:: 4(5:5:6:6) 100g hanks in shade A (I used Brown)
:: 664(830:830:996:996) metres
:: 3(3:4:4:5) 100g hanks in shade B (I used Ecru) Click here to see the shades.
:: 4.5mm needles.
:: 5mm needles.
Tension: 20 stitches and 38 rows to 10cm/4ins square over garter stitch pattern using 5mm needles.
I’ve written about the inspiration behind this pattern on my blog, click here to read more.
