Simple Baby Blanket

Product Description

For this pattern you need:

Yarn: Two 50g balls each of dk weight yarn (with 120m/131yds per 50g) in shade A, shade B and shade C.

Metres/Yardage for each shade170m/185yds – 190m/208yds.
Total metres/yardage needed: approx. 495m/541yds to 570m/624yds

My Yarn Suggestions & Amounts: Knoll Mohair Tweed or Merino Cotton.

Two 50g balls each  of shade A, shade B and shade C.
WYS Bluefaced Leicester DK or WYS Illustrious DK One 100g hanks each of shade A, shade B and shade C.

Needles: 4mm.

Tension: 22 stitches and 44 rows to 10cm square over garter stitch using 4mm needles.

Skill Level:  ◊ ◊ ◊ 

Measurements: One square measures approx. 13cm x 13cm.
Finished blanket measures approx. 51cm x 58cm.

My design ideas and advice: This is a lovely relaxing knit for a new arrival to the family. It is simple to knit and very satisfying as an experienced knitter can easily knit one square comfortably in an evening while watching a film.
