Skills needed: You will need to know how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off.

This full day workshop will give you all the techniques you need to complete a sock and create a new addiction all in one fun session. I share with you the joy of double pointed needles, turning the heel and all the other technical parts of knitting a sock. And by the end of the day you’ll have a small sock and a huge feeling of satisfaction that the mystery of knitting a sock has been solved!

Skills learnt: Working in a round on double pointed needles, turning the heel, shaping the instep and grafting the toe together – everything you need to make a pair of small socks.

Materials included in cost: Double pointed needles, sock pattern and yarn – which has all you need to make a gorgeous pair of small socks.
Materials to bring: Nothing, just you and the willingness to learn something amazing.

Refreshments are not included: Please bring with you your own refreshments of hot/cold drinks and lunch. Most peeps bring a flask with them and a packed lunch but there is time to get a takeaway at lunchtime & feel free to bring a takeaway coffee into the class.
