*this is a free download. If you wanted just the printed pattern this is available from the Skipton studio for £2 or it is free when purchasing yarn to knit the pattern.

My design ideas and advice: This is one of my favourite scarf designs, a super simple scarf that is so soothing to knit. This scarf is great for learners who want to move onto purl, if you are new to knitting then just cast on and cast off at the end. Then just sew the ends together.
If you get cold in the winter months then this scarf knitted in the Fable Aran,  Bluefaced Leicester Aran or any of the aran yarns, will keep you cosy and warm, it’s like nothing else.

For this pattern I used:

Yarn & Amounts: Two 100g balls of WYS Fable Aran (50% Falkland Wool, 35% British Alpaca and 15% British Mohair,
e 100g/166m/182yds.).

Metres: 300m.

Needles: 5mm.

Gauge (tension): 18 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm square over pattern using 5mm needles.

Measurements: 21cm x approx. 100cm.
