Product Description

For this pattern I used:

Yarn & Amounts: Two 50g balls each of Knoll Soft Donegal (100% Pure New Merino Wool, 63m/68yds per 50g) in shade A, shade B and shade C.
I used shade 5309 Greese for shade A, shade 5311 Unshin for shade B and shade 5520 Sheelin for shade C.

Metres/Yardages for each shade: 124m/135yds.
Total Metres/Yardages: 372m/406yds.

Hook : 7mm.

Size: one square is approx. 10cm x 10cm
Finished measurements of cowl are 20cm wide by 120cm long.

My design ideas and advice: I love granny squares. So easy and fun to crochet and I wanted to do something a little bit different with them. I love the idea of a granny square blanket and there are lots of ways to create a blanket, even with theses squares. However I also love the idea of taking something traditional and giving it a different feel, so this is my idea using the inspiration of a granny square! Enjoy!
