Skill Level:   ◊ ◊ ◊ This uses the basic knit stitch but there are a few new techniques for beginners like yarn overs, decreasing and increasing.
This single pattern is available to download  or as printed pattern to be shipped to your home.

Product Description

For this pattern I used:

Yarn: Two 50g balls of dk weight yarn (with 110m/120yds per 50g).

Metres/Yardage: 220m/240yds.

Yarn Suggestions:
Knoll Mohair Tweed Two 50g balls or
WYS Bluefaced Leicester DK or WYS Illustrious DK One 100g hanks or
Merino Cotton Two 50g balls or
Rico Cotton DK Two 50g balls.

Needles: 4mm knitting needles.

Tension: 22 stitches and 40 rows to 10cm/4ins square over garter stitch using 4mm needles.

Skill Level:   ◊ ◊ ◊

Measurements: 15cm (at widest part) x approx. 140cm.

My design ideas and advice: This scarf is very easy to knit yet has a detail that makes it more interesting that just all garter stitch, so great for learning new skills for beginners while experienced knitters have a lovely mindless project to relax with.
